Join Zoom Meeting
Monday July 6th 10:30 AM
We will be doing something NEW before we start the virtual games. Please gather some supplies BEFORE 10:30. You will need 20 pieces of paper about 4 inches x 4 inches. You can take any paper and cut it into 1/4’s or you can use index cards or anything you can find. You will also need something to write with. You can also grab crayons or colored pencils or pens. There is a great program called the Giving Hope Project. They donate hundreds of lunch’s and other needed items to people who are unhoused in Seattle. They like to include a short little note in each give away. Kids Coming Together will be making those notes before we play virtual games. After you complete the notes you can drive them to the MailPost in Sammamish, you can mail them or we can try to arrange a pick up.
A note from The Giving Hope Project –
We are very excited to have KidsComingTogether make love notes for us to put in our lunch bags and high kits. We distribute approximately 350 lunch bags and 300 hygiene kits to people who are unhoused each week, in Seattle. We love to have small notes and pictures to put in the bag. It works well if the cards are the size of a 3×5 index card. Saying can be “I care about you” “stay strong “ “stay safe” Any note of encouragement. It is create when the notes are done in bright colors and pictures are also appreciated.
The cards can be dropped off at our donation bin or mailed to us at:
3020 Issaquah Pine Lake Rd SE #84
Sammamish, WA 98075
We will be using Zoom to play games including Jackbox and Kahoot and Sribbli.io and others. We know that being stuck at home is difficult and the KCT high school leaders want to give your kids something to look forward to. These events are open to all kids in grades 3 through 8 (School year 2020/2021). 8th graders will be trained as leaders and are asked to help the younger kids when they can.
Please RSVP so we can email you information or an invitation.
