No-Bake Dog Treats: Kids Coming Together for a Tasty Cause!
Join us at the scenic Beaver Lake Lodge for an afternoon of fun, camaraderie, and culinary delights for our furry friends!
Event description & details
This event offers children in grades 3-8 an engaging opportunity to learn, bond, and give back to four-legged friends who could use a little day brightener. With the guidance of dedicated high school volunteers, our younger participants will be crafting delicious no-bake dog treats. These handmade goodies will not only fill the room with laughter and excitement but also fill the hearts – and tummies – of the deserving dogs at the Seattle Humane Society.
- Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Our high school volunteers will be teamed with younger kids, fostering an environment of mentorship and collaboration.
- No Oven, No Problem: Learn how to make scrumptious dog treats without any baking. Safe, easy, and oh-so-tasty (at least, the dogs seem to think so!).
- A Gift That Gives Back: At the end of the event, all the treats will be donated to the Seattle Humane Society, bringing joy to the many pups awaiting their forever homes.
Experience an afternoon of fun, learning, and the spirit of giving back. And for our high schoolers, it’s a wonderful opportunity to lead, mentor, and make a paw-sitive impact in the community.
